PhD student from MSU research trip to HiST
The aim of a PhD student Anna Avramenko’s two-week research trip to HiST in December 2012 was to observe and analyze the experience of Norwegian colleagues in the field of mobile devices integration in teaching for future comparison with that in Russia. The coordinator of the trip was Tord Talmo. The research trip included:
• SRS-2, PeLe and digital labs demonstrations
• 5 interviews (30' each)
• 8 academic hours of lesson observation
• 6 academic hours of teaching EFL classes
The research results have been analyzed together with those of a teacher survey on mobile learning conducted in Russia in 2012 within Mobile devices in language classroom project (170 EFL teachers took part in it). The research results will be published soon.
